So I'm just browsing around looking up Lord of the Rings artwork, do nothing. Then finally get around to checking my inbox and respond to people who have faved my work.
Well...    in the middle of responding to one I stumble across an interesting challenge on Cheergirl1000's page called "ipod shuffle challenge" and was like
"Hmmmmmm..."

So I did the challenge and was so engrossed by my answers I decided to post my findings.

First the rules (or instructions):

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Put your music player on shuffle.
2. Press forward for each question.
3. Use the song title as the answer to the question even if it doesn't make sense. NO CHEATING!

The Challenge:

1) How do you feel today?

2) What's your outlook on life?

3) What does your family think of you?

4) What do your friends think of you?

5) What do strangers think of you?

6) What do your exes think of you?

7) How's your love life?

8) How will your love life be in the future?

9) Will you get married?

10) Are you good at school?

11) Will you be successful?

12) What song should they play on your birthday?

13) What song should they play at your graduation?

14) The Soundtrack of your life?

15) You and your best friends are?

16) Happy times:

17) Sad times:

18) Every day:

19) For tomorrow:

20) For you:

21) What does next year have in store for me?

22) What do I say when life gets too hard?

23) What song will I dance to at my wedding?

24) What do you want as your career?

25) Your favorite saying?

26) How will I die?

Now the fun part. MY answers:  (Note: for some songs I have the artist listed and others the album. Hope that's not too confusing...)

1) "Prima Donna"   Phantom of the Opera  (ok not so bad)

2) "Candle on the Water"   Pete's Dragon

3) "Why Do You Let Me Stay Here"   She & Him  (got a real kick out of that)

4) "Defying Gravity"   Wicked

5) "Main Titles"   Little Mermaid   (I don't know if instrumentals should count or not, oh well...)

6) "Miracles Happen"  Princess Diaries  (Hilarious...) :pissedoff:

7) "Alice"  Avril Lavigne

8) "I Can't Give You Anything But Love"  Unknown Artist   (appropriate, I should say) :blowkiss:

9) "Blackbird"  Glee - Kurt   (I hope that means yes)

10) "Forbidden Mountain"  Sleeping Beauty

11) "Making Whoopee"  Doris Day   (Oh God YES!) :w00t:

12) "Son of Man"  Phil Collins    (oooh,Tarzan, great!) :)

13) "Bad Reputation"  Joan Jett   (Hells Yeahs!!!) :headbang:

14) "The New Girl In Town"  Hairspray   (f*%king awesome, just what I wanted) :flirty:

15) "Bills, Bills, Bills"  Glee - Warblers

16) "A Guy Like You"  Hunchback of Notre Dame

17) "You Belong To Me"  Jason Wade

18) "Jig"  Little Mermaid

19) "Iris"  Goo Goo Dolls

20) "Back to Black"  Glee - Santana

21) "Soon You'll Come Home"  All Dogs Go To Heaven   (just where am I going exactly?)

22) "It's Possible"  Cinderella   (the Rodger's and Hammerstien's version)    (oooh, good! Cause life is never too hard when I've got an upbeat musical number) :sing:

23) "Misery"  Glee - Warblers

24) "Little Saint Nick"   The Beach Boys   (Yay! I'm gonna have the best job in the world!!!) :squee:

25) "Nutcracker March"   Tchaikovsky   (got real 'Christmasy' there for a second and that's totally my favorite saying by the way. I mean it works for everything. Someone could be all up in my 'bidness' and I could say "Yo, outta my face! 'Nutcracker March', B*%$h! :censored:  Or something really great could happen and I would be like "Man that was so 'Nutcracker March'!!!     Or it could be used for solemn occasions like a eulogy for a departed loved one " He was 'Nutcracker March'...    Just 'Nutcracker March' through and through...

And finally...

26) "Leaving Munchkin Land"   Wizard of Oz   (This is perfect. When I die I want to go to Munchkin Land and have my soul follow the yellow brick road to Heaven or the Emerald City it's same same for me)

Anyway, I got some laughs out of the game. And that's all one can really ask for. :dalove:

So apparently I was tagged, but I choose to not tag any other deviants cause it's more fun to fight the system!!! ;P
I will now post the rules and which ones I plan to follow. :shh:
Rules:

1. You must post the rules.:w00t:
2. Each person must post 5 things about themselves in their journal.:w00t:
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer. :threaten:(I will if I want...)
4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged them.
6. No tagbacks.
7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you're tagged if you're reading this". You legimately have to tag 11 people.

Okay now the five things...

1) Wizard of Oz is the best movie ever made. This is the singular movie/story that has shaped most of my life.

2) I think Seth MacFarlane it a comic genius. American Dad & Family Guy are hilarious.

3) I love to tell stories. Whether they're stories I know from movies, books, or word of mouth I love to tell stories. Although sometimes I feel like Owl from Winnie the Pooh and I just love to hear myself talk, but nobody will listen... :)

4) I think that ANYTHING cherry-flavored is gross. All the medicine is cherry-flavored, so whenever I eat something cherry-flavored I feel as though I'm taking medicine.

5) I'm not very good at telling people about myself. I can help people with their problems or deflect them with stories I know, but truly I'm very secluded.

The person who tagged me didn't make up 11 questions of their own but I will try to make up 11 of my own.

1)Circles or squares?

Circles. Definitely circles.

2)Oh noes! You're stuck in a building that's ON FIRE! What's the first thing to cross your mind?

Tell everyone! Then grab everything that can't be replaced like photos and my dog's ashes.

3)What is your preferred, most used, and/or dream mode of transport?

Broomstick. I would settle for a flying carpet, but I want a broomstick...

4)You find some money on the floor. Do you pick it up?

Yes. Then ask if anyone dropped it or if it is a huge amount I turn it in.

5)Have you ever wanted a pet that you couldn't have? What was it?

Yes, a unicorn or luck dragon. The problem is that there is so much upkeep for animals such as them.

6)You're halfway across the hypothetical river when you feel exhaustion setting in. Do you keep going into the unknown, or turn round and go back to familiarity?

Solider on. I can be quite stubborn and stupid at the most impossible times.

7)If you could invent a new sport, what would it entail?

No pain. I hate it when people play a sport and are having fun and the next thing you know someone has a broken bone.:surrender:

8)What is, in your opinion, the worst aspect of art & design? Argue your case!

Always having that creative mood strike when you are nowhere near you art station and supply-less and by the time you get there it's gone.

9)Admit it. You've burnt something under a magnifying glass before.

Never, I almost tried it once, but I thought how I would feel being burnt under a magnifying glass and decided against it.

10)How many books did you read last year? Textbooks and the like don't count!

I would say like 20, 10 if you count rereads and 10 if you count soppy romantic stories.

11)If you could change one thing about the world for the better, what would it be and why?

More green energy and less fossil fuels.     Or       More love and less hate...

Now my 11 new questions!!!

1) If there was one movie you think everyone should see what is it?

2) Do you think there is one perfect person for everyone and true loves exists?

3) Black or white?

4) What's the best gift you have ever received?

5) Would you rather tell a hurtful truth or lie through your teeth?

6) If it were raining outside, would you give your umbrella to a stranger or hoard it for yourself?

7) Nuclear explosion and only one food exists what would you want it to be?

8) When at a party, do you make yourself the life of it or hang in the background?

9) What is your favorite time of day?

10) How many times do you tex in a day?

11) What is the one rule you think everyone should break?

Okay, so i just spent most of my day cleaning my house. Vacuuming, beating rugs, mopping floors, doing laundry, dusting, cleaning fireplace, the tapestries, draperies, and giving Lucifer his bath... (clap, clap fro those who got the Cinderella reference! :))

Anyway, for doing work all day I'm pretty tired, but I'm still hoping to work on my art tonight and if I don't I still have the weekend. My family and I are going to visit a friend this weekend and I'm bringing my art supplies for something to do. Cause with no internet or TV or my extensive movie collection, I think the only thing else to to is read (and I can't read glee fan-fiction with no internet :()

But I'll survive and end up having a blast no matter what happens. I just wish I could concentrate and finish my Disney collage...

It's Tuesday and no Glee. I have to wait a whole 'nother week for my Glee fix. I can only hope I hold out that long... :(
Other note worthy topics; I working on my Disney Happily Ever After Collage. The next one is Snow White (I've already done Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty) and I was planning on painting it with oil pastels, but it's coming out looking like a four year old did it with crayons, so I'm thinking I'm going so use soft pastels instead. But either way after I'm done with Snow I still have Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin to do.
Basically I'm saying it's nice to have stuff to work on with all the lack of Glee...:)

Well except for all the decorations outside the house, all the christmas stuff has been put away. (Thank Gosh...)
I don't know if this new year will any better than the last, but I hope it doesn't get worse.
Anyway things seem to be looking up and I'm hoping to do a lot more in coming year wether it be personal or professional growth. :)
